Many Children in Uganda suffer and battle with life due to their loss of parents or abandonment by parents and/or relatives. Life is hard for the orphaned children in the communities that we serve and it gets worse once you hear the stories of their lives. These little children have to learn how to fend for themselves at an extremely young age. The have to look for food, clothing, water and a place to rest in the night. Many of them hit the streets of big cities like Kampala and Jinja City, sit along city streets while praying and hoping that someone merciful can toss them a coin so as they can get something to eat.
The poor little ones have no access to education, whatsoever. They live in the worst conditions a child can face. This pushes us to help and see to it that the poor little children can have a better life. We are Kindred Hearts Child Care Foundation Located in Mutai – Jinja City Uganda and we are fueled by the dream of seeing a life better for everyone and that’s why we seek to help the least privileged in the communities we serve.
FARMING programs
At Kindred Hearts Child Care Foundation Uganda, we work toward helping people in need. But even better, we work toward ensuring that to help people even more to help them get to their feet. How do we do this? Through the set up of projects that can provide sustainable assistance to people. In a long term aspect. We do this through our long term designed projects which include farming and food security. As part of these projects, we work on making sure that communities and individuals learn and actively engage in farming so as they can acquire and even better their agriculture skills so they can easily fend for themselves, thereby providing food stuff for themselves and their families, while also using the surplus for commerce, selling it out in exchange for money that they can use to clear bills and purchase other necessities they need like clothes, medication, school fees and among others. Some of the crops we have as part of our farming program include corn/maize, coffee, bananas (matooke), sweet potatoes and many others.
Christmas Celebrations
We take pride in working tooth and nail to make sure that our children grow up believing and having faith in the Christmas spirit, a time when our savior Jesus Christ was born and a time to share love, joy and happiness with each other.

From going to school, community outreaches and renovations, we are humbled to create smiles to everyone we find. The destitute, the ones with no option, no hope and no solutions. Kindred Hearts Child Care Foundations steps in and lends a hand to give hope to those without, to give support and those with none. To give aid and to give birth to a whole world of new possibilities.

Education stands as the cornerstone cornerstone of the foundation’s endeavors. At Kindred Hearts Child Care Foundation, every Child’s right to education is not just a belief. It’s a tangible commitment. The foundation recognizes the transformative power of education and its ability to empower children, providing them with the tools to rewrite their life’s narratives. With this, we provide tuition and scholastic materials to orphans and children from extremely destitute families so they can have access to education and a better future.

— Fighting HIV/AIDs
Our commitment stems from a profound belief in the importance of education and advocacy in combating HIV/AIDs. At Kindred Hearts Child Care Foundation, we recognize that knowledge is power. Through targeted awareness campaigns, educational programs and community outreach initiatives, we strive to disseminate accurate information about HIV/AIDs, dispelling myths, and empowering individuals with the knowledge to protect themselves from the disease through engaging with with local communities.
